RID requires that participants are clearly informed of how and when they can receive a refund if they can no longer attend or if the event is cancelled.

Registration Cancellation by Participant:

  • Cancellations received at least 7 days before the workshop start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a online purchase processing fee.

  • Cancellations received between 6 and 3 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event or for "no-shows."

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@aslimpact.org.

Event Cancellation by Host:

  • The ASL Impact Program reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, technical failure).

  • In the event of a total cancellation, all registered participants will be notified via email and will receive a 100% refund of their registration fees within 30 business days.

2. Non-Discrimination Policy

The ASL Impact Program is committed to providing a learning environment that is inclusive and free from discrimination. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

All participants and instructors are expected to foster an environment of mutual respect. While workshops may involve "difficult conversations" necessary for learning, we aim to eliminate bias and ensure all attendees feel safe and valued.

3. Reasonable Accommodations

The ASL Impact Program is committed to providing an accessible learning environment. If you require any reasonable accommodations to fully participate in this workshop, please contact Cameron Eggers at cameron@aslimpact.org or 916-300-9954 by 14 days before the event to ensure we can meet your needs.
