Our Story
ASL Impact is a non-profit organization currently pending 501(c)(3) status. We are dedicated to promoting ASL accessibility in community theatre. We aim to increase visibility of theatre art making, raise awareness of the creative process, and showcase events to create a more inclusive arts community.

Our Mission
At ASL Impact, our mission is to advance equitable access to the performing arts for the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafBlind, and Late-Deafened communities. We do this by providing high-quality educational training and professional development for ASL interpreters working in theatrical and performance settings.
Through meaningful partnerships with local theater companies, community organizations, and Deaf artists, we promote inclusive artistic collaboration and develop interpreted performances that serve the public interest. We also support aspiring ASL artists and empower community theaters to create accessible programming through education, mentorship, and advocacy.
As a nonprofit organization currently pursuing 501(c)(3) status, all of our efforts are conducted for the benefit of the public—never for private gain. ASL Impact exists to create lasting change in the performing arts through accessibility, representation, and community engagement.
